In the heavy industrial manufacturing sector, the safe and efficient transfer of heavy components has always been a crucial step in the production process. Recently, our company, BEFANBY, launched an advanced RGV (rail-guided vehicle). This transport vehicle, exported to a Brazilian customer, has undergone extensive testing and experimentation and has been successfully deployed, injecting new vitality into the company's transportation operations with its superior performance.

The core task of this project was to solve the problem of transporting large components such as heavy-duty truck frames and engines across workstations. These components are heavy, posing a significant challenge to the stability and load-bearing capacity of the transport equipment. Simultaneously, on the assembly line, the transport platform was required to achieve millimeter-level precision docking with each workstation to ensure smooth subsequent assembly operations.
To solve this handling challenge, our engineers adopted a highly automated RGV rail-guided transport vehicle. This system integrates several innovative designs to ensure high efficiency and reliability in the transportation process:
The RGV transport vehicle employs a dual-motor drive system. This design not only provides the powerful drive required to haul heavy loads but also ensures extremely efficient and smooth operation during starting, running, and braking through precise collaborative control. This effectively prevents heavy loads from swaying and tipping over due to inertia, ensuring the safety of both equipment and goods.

Upon arrival at the designated workstation, the dual-chain motor conveyor system on the vehicle begins operation. It synchronously and smoothly pushes the massive components forward, achieving precise and seamless docking with the production line. Simultaneously, the vehicle is equipped with an intelligent charging system, automatically returning to the charging station for recharging during work breaks, enabling efficient 24/7 operation and eliminating the need for tedious manual maintenance. The entire vehicle adopts a modular design, facilitating maintenance and functional expansion, and can be flexibly customized to suit different workshop layouts and load requirements.
This system is not only suitable for heavy-duty truck manufacturing; its modular and customizable design also gives it broad application prospects in various heavy industrial fields such as construction machinery, large equipment, and logistics warehousing.
